Cramping: toxin irritation can progress to intestinal spasms
Excess gas production causes uncomfortable bloating. Excess toxin production by bacteria can produce irritation to the intestinal tissue.
The combination of expansion of the intestines caused by gas (uncomfortable bloating) and irritation of the intestines caused by bacterial toxins can result in uncomfortable minor pain and intestinal cramping. Cramping from toxin irritation can progress to intestinal spasm where the muscles in the intestine go into spasm and pinch off the intestines blocking passage. This can contribute to occasional constipation.
Should gas continue for more than 2-4 weeks seek the advice of your doctor |
